Palatine police received a report about 6:50 PM Tuesday of an attempted residential burglary in the block of 600 Pennsylvania Drive Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders attempted to burglarize an apartment. The resident heard a noise overnight, and discovered a kitchen window/screen ajar in the morning.
